We’re excited to announce our selection as a main stage presenter at the Health Data Initiative (HDI) Forum in Washington, D.C., on June 5-6, 2012. During the “For Consumers” session on June 5th we will demonstrate how prescription drug cost transparency enables informed healthcare decisions.
Health Datapalooza is a national conference that brings together startups, product developers and public policy leaders to discuss and present innovation in the growing world of health data. Keynote speakers at this year’s HDI Forum include U.S. Chief Technology Officer, Todd Park and Physician and Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist.
In addition to our selection for the Apps & Demo Expo, myDrugCosts Founder/CEO, Dan Pollard, is a featured panelist in the “Data-Driven ‘Hotspotting’ for Medical Products and Medications” roundtable discussion alongside other entrepreneurs and national business leaders.
We are excited to feature application demonstrations at booth #27 during the Apps & Demo Expo and answer visitors’ questions about our approach to informed decision making in healthcare.
About The Health Data Initiative Forum
The Health Data Initiative Forum III: The Health Datapalooza promises to bring together a diverse group of data experts, technology developers, entrepreneurs, policy makers, health care system leaders, and community advocates to support innovative applications of health and health care data. The Health Data Initiative (HDI), originally launched in 2010 by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as the Community Health Data Initiative, is a public-private collaboration that encourages innovators to utilize health data to develop applications to raise awareness of health and health system performance and spark community action to improve health.
